WE HATE CANCER - AND WE NEED YOU TO HELP US FIND A CURE!
Hi! We are Ell and Chloe: cousins, Inner Westies, and pilots of the Millennial Falcon. In May 2020, we're going to be driving our dilapidated, rusty-as-heck Ford Falcon AU (which cost us a whopping $350) from Alice Springs to the Gold Coast via the Gulf of Carpentaria along with 550 other participants in order to help raise money for the Cancer Council.
Because cancer sucks, and there are far too many Australians battling through the effects of this disease - be they sufferers themselves, or their loved ones.
Here at Team Millennial Falcon, we understand all too well the devastating impact cancer has on individuals and their loved ones. As cousins, we lost our great uncle Fred to cancer in 2002. 13 years later, we were devastated by the loss of our beloved Nan, Tricia, to cancer on Christmas Day 2015. One of our pilots, Chloe, is herself a cancer survivor having battled through cervical cancer six years ago at the tender age of 21.
Chloe is now a nurse who spends many of her days helping fight cancer on the "front line". Ell is a childcare worker who has spent far too much time supporting families through the diagnosis, treatment - and devastatingly, sometimes the loss - of their smallest loved ones.
Our fight against cancer is personal; and we need your help.
In order to participate in the Rally, we need to raise a minimum of $5000. The money we raise will go towards this year's Rally goal of $2 million - money that goes directly to the Cancer Council in order to fund cancer research in Australia.
Any support you can give would mean the world to us, and to the thousands of Australians currently affected by cancer.

Together, we can help bring an end to cancer.
Shitbox Rally is the adventure of a lifetime challenging participants and their cars, worth no more than $1,000, on a 7 day drive across Australia to raise money for cancer research.
The rally is not a race – it’s a fun, colourful, unpredictable adventure with participants travelling at their own pace in smaller groups. Vehicles often break down but “we never leave anyone behind” and each night is spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the day’s achievements. It all adds up to an incredible opportunity to see Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make lifelong friends, many brought together after experiencing cancer themselves or seeing cancer impact family and friends.
Since it’s inception the rally has been the largest fundraiser for the Cancer Council nationally.
Shitbox Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.
Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.
Thanks to the community funds raised such as Shitbox Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.
Almost $20 million has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:
These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
